Welcome to Guangzhou China!

We really have loved our travels so far (even though we have been quite vocal about missing our kids). We have had a wonderful and memorable experience in both Beijing and Urumqi.

Never in our wildest dreams did we think we would ever stand on the Great Wall of China, or visit the tomb of the Ming Dynasty Emperors, or the royal forbidden city in Beijing. We didn't even know that a place called Urumqi China existed until a few months ago.

Now we are in Guangzhou (pronounced Guanjo). It has been quite an adventure. This is a shot of Guangzhou from our hotel room in the White Swan. This is a street view of the hotel we are staying in:

  1. Guangzhou looks entirely different that Urumqi. Just seeing the cars on the streets makes it look more . . .normal? civilized? I hope that you are able to enjoy each aspect of this amazing journey, taking in as much as you can of the sites, people, and cultural differences. What is amazing to me is that Heavenly Father is so individually aware of each of His children, in 'every land'.

It is still snowing and Amanda and the other boys are at the football game, I don't know how they are playing in this snow but I guess it is part of the game. I am watching Bexley and Ben they are so cute together Ben is teaching her how to climb on things and she is a great learner. I love you Mom
