When she was good she was very, very good...

We thought you might like to see the typical sweet Liddia. Yes, as mentioned we will need to work on the tantrums, but she can also melt your heart with sweetness. My dad use to quote me this little poem when I was a little girl, he thought it described me. I'm sure some of you have heard it. It now describes our sweet Liddia.
"There was a little girl,

who had a little curl,

right in the middle of her forehead.

When she was good,

she was very very good,

But when she was bad she was horrid."

I guess like mother like daughter! :)

This is Liddia's sweet side. And may I say, thank goodness, we see much more her smile than we do her tears!

  5. Hi this is Dad, I have enjoyed every one of your posts thank you for sharing your experience with all of us. I was amaized Brendon that you could feel so safe in such a large city on the other side of the world, but I was also very pleased. What a challange You have to form a relationahip with a 3 year old who does not speak your language, especially in a confined area like a plane and with an audience watching every move who understand her but not you. I had a little time one on one with Drew yesterday & today he said he is very excited for Liddia to come home, I enjoyed getting to know him a little better. I have written 2 eariler posts but was not successful in sending them maybe the 3rd time is the charm. We look foward to many hours of hearing in greater detail about your amazing adventure, we love you. Dad
